With funding from WisTAF, and in partnership with LIFT WI, the Center for Patient Partnerships put together a packet of information to be sent out to rural parts of Wisconsin. The packet consisted of three (two English, one Spanish) promotional flyers outlining our services. The first flyer focused on the free health advocacy services of the Health Justice Clinic. The second flyer sent was for LIFT WI’s LegalTuneUp.org.
The purpose of this outreach campaign was to reach people widely throughout Wisconsin, especially to underserved and underrepresented rural areas. Reflected Director Sarah Davis, “We want to make sure that every corner of Wisconsin knows about the free advocacy services available at the Center for Patient Partnerships, and legal support provided by LIFT Wisconsin. We are just a mouse click or phone call away and want to help Wisconsinites bust through barriers to health and economic security!”
We sent materials to over 640 locations: 72 County Clerks of Court offices, 91 Health, Human, and Tribal Services offices, and 478 Library locations throughout the state. Upon receipt, one Library location noted “We service a very impoverished population up here in northern WI and this is a really valuable resource; we get asked about these types of services frequently.”
